For Art and Kai festival we had to prepare two pieces of art - 2d and 3d. We made paper clay cats for 3 d. It all started with reading an article on recycling. Children got very passionate and started recycling every bit of paper. So we soaked paper for a couple of days and mashed it, added glue and some flour to make paper clay. We collected coke bottles, newspaper to give form to our cats. And the long procedure......
We were lucky to have parent helpers to help us.
A big thank-you to Jenni and Mariko and our student teacher Ms.Walters. Mrs. Kumar did beautiful 2d art with us. Thank-you Mrs. Kumar!
And guess what, all our art was sold. A big thank-you to our parents and community for appreciating our efforts.
